ABOUT MINISTRY

Ministry in DIOS Proveera PERU started in 2013. Today, our missionaries are involved in youth ministry, children ministry, elderly ministry, hospital ministry and evangelism. On certain days of the week, the missionaries with youth walk through parks and streets to invite children to hear Bible stories on a megaphone. They also create interactive lessons that teach the children about Jesus Christ and the Word of God.

The youth ministry has a wide variety of activities and services. We typically have the youth services with Bible study and fellowship. The youth has a desire to know about the Bible and Jesus, so we use every opportunity to share the Gospel. The missionaries and the youth also visit a hospital once a week to encourage, pray for the sick and bring them fruits. After visiting the sick they also visit the elderly people.

In 2015, a local church was formed and there are 12 members now. The members are active and involved in children ministry and worship. We are working on raising a local pastor that would serve at the church.

There are many opportunities to serve and evangelize to people of all ages in Espinar. We use every opportunity to share the Gospel and salvation in Jesus Christ, whether it be through a speaker with a microphone or speaking to someone at the market.
